To coincide with our next label party Elements we bring you an interview with our headliner - Reblok. Hi Goran, how are you? I am glad to speak with you. Can i ask you what are you doing right now?

Hi there, I am fine thanks… right now im eating my breakfast.

Could you tell us something about you? I know that you are from Serbia. From which part exactly are you? How would you describe your country to a foreigner?

Well.. I always describe myself in a ”wrong way”..basically I’m eager, ambitious, hardworking person and on top of all big hedonist. Enjoying life pushes me forward all the time and also in making music. For example if I’m feeling bad I start making some new stuff in which I believe will later in life pay off. I am not trying to please anyone with my music, I do what I like. And about your second part of question: well countryside is pretty at least here in Vojvodina. I don’t really know how is it in south Serbia because I have never been there. People are temperament and have a bit hard mentality and pretty much conservative thinking. And also important thing: Serbia’s most famous brands are definatelly Rakia (Domestic vodka) & plums :)

Beef records Djs to play at the Week End club Berlin

We are super excited about our next label event. This time we gonna hit Berlin – Weekend Club. On Thursday 11th April get ready for your Beef dosage of underground house beats served by Timid Boy, Dj Schwa from Shades of Gray, Dilby and Carlo. We gonna kick off at midnight and continue till very late. First 20 people will get a free vinyl or CD (up to your preference) from our back catalog. Get there early boys and girls!

Interview with Timid Boy (Time Has Changed, Upon You)

BE AT: Timid Boy party is this Friday at Prague club Chapeau Rouge. We are very excited about this event and to coincide with this special night we are bringing you an interview with Damien Almira aka Timid Boy. We talked about just everything including kissing girls, his future plans, MTV and about a new movie he shot in Paris.

Hi Damian, it’s a great pleasure having you in Prague in a few weeks. Have you been here before? What do you know about Prague?

I know that’s one  of the most beautifull towns in Europe. So i’m really curious to discover your city! I also used to have  friends from the Czech Republic when i was a student, i never been to Prague or even Czech Republic so i can’t wait to be there, play there and party there ! ;-)

We know that you live in Paris. Which part? How is it living over there? Lot of people seem moving out of Paris to different parts of France or even to different countries. Some people say its simply because Paris is becoming way too expensive to have a comfortable live there… do you agree?

We are finally back from touring, back in reality, back in the office and the studio! Oh, dear… First piece of news is about our new compilations series Seasons. We are now serving the first part called ‘Winter’, carefully selected and crafted 5 wicked tunes to represent the most current sound and approach to house music!

On tour with Claire Morgan (Haul music, Sydney)

We are happy to present two label events in the Czech Republic this weekend with our favorite Dj Claire Morgan from Sydney. Claire Morgan is a vinyl junkie representing the true Detroit sound. She is also great producer releasing stripped back techno tracks on Australian label Haul music (run by Mike Callender).

Shades Of Gray remix competition!

We’ve launched a remix competition of Shades of Gray track Illusions! Two winners will get a release on our label Beef Records, along with prizes from Loopmasters, What People Play, Plugin Boutique and Beef Records.
